ETICHS AND ENVIRONMENT
FUNQ PRODUCTS goal is to attain an ethical and environmentally sustainable enterprise at every level. We strive to make the least negative impact on the environment, while providing functional garments with comfort, quality and superior design.
ENVIRONMENTALLY SENSITIVE
We are working to phase out cotton that has a high impact on the environment, and replace it with environmentally friendly alternatives, such as organic cotton or bamboo. Our new packaging materials are made of recyclable PET.
Our long term goal is to make all of our packaging out of recycled PET, or of alternative, environmentally friendly material. We try our very hard to coordinate our shipments to reduce “carbon footprints”, and we use e-mail notifications as much as possible to save trees and to help to save the environment.
Oeko-Tex Standard
The yarns used in FUNQ® WEAR Support Socks and FUNQ® WEAR Bamboo Socks are certified according to Oeko-Tex Standard 100. The antimicrobial agent, “Sanitized”, and the water-based textile dyes used in our Support and Comfort Socks, fulfills the requirements of Oeko-Tex Standard 100.
ETHICAL BUSINESS PRACTICES
All construction takes place in Europe and thus follows the specified requirements within the EU concerning working conditions and prohibitions against child labor.
We donate all second hand and irregular products to various charitable organizations!
